Green bird Inn

The location was very easy, the room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable, and it was quiet. The best part was the price was much lower than other hotels offering the same thing. A few nights before, we had stayed in a well-known chain and paid $50 more a night for a room with a saggy bed, broken faucet, and noise outside. This was much better!

Green Bird Inn is a one story motel right off the freeway. It was very convenient for our cross country travel with two dogs. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable. There is a nice grassy area oacross the parking lot. Restaurants nearby.

For a much older motel it was very clean and had no odors. Overall, it was much cleaner than a few newer hotels I have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and the motel was easy to find. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or modern and it was perfect.

The facility is beautiful, clean, exceptionally well finished. Unfortunately, it didn't look good on the outside because of tornado damage,. But the location was perfect and the room was beautiful and very comfortable.

Breakfast and entrance to the lobby area was not made available to us when we checked out in the morning. We weren't sure why, however it was OK because we were ready to get on the road.
